The Diablo Valley Biopharma Networking Group was founded in November of 2024. Through LinkedIn, co-leader Astrid Heim in California connected to Bio Pharma Networking Group’s Outreach Director, Xandria Kovacic in Pennsylvania. After seeing all the great events that Diablo Valley’s budding group was promoting on LinkedIn, BPNG believed that it would be a great addition to the Bio Pharma Networking Group. We are excited to be the first chapter launched in California with an event scheduled for June.
“Some of our attendees have found new jobs, received internal referrals, gained great professional advice, and enjoyed the company of others in casual environments. Our networking group is important because we are creating accessible ways for other life science professionals to build relationships near the major biotech and life science hub of the San Francisco Bay Area, specifically around the East Bay cities of Orinda, Lafayette, Moraga, Walnut Creek, Pleasant Hill, Concord, Clayton, Pittsburg, Antioch, and Brentwood.”
